Pamela Williams

Pamela Williams has been a ceramicist for over fifty years. She became interested in pottery in her early twenties after seeing a television advertisement showing a young lady throwing on a potters wheel, and the rest is history! She has worked from both her home studio in Surrey, and a workshop in South London both teaching and expanding her own knowledge of pottery over the years. Her most notable influences come from trips to China and influences of Ikebana (the art of Japanese flower arrangement). Her work is largely wheel thrown and functional, and depicts an experimental use of glazes. Pamela rarely creates batches of pieces meaning that each form has a uniqueness and embodies its own character.

Pamela is also Emilie's grandma and we love her to pieces.
